Why is "hill 16" called "hill 16"? i heard that it was constructed from the debris created during the Easter Rising of 1916 and thats where the 16 came from..... is this true?

Hill 16 has been rebuilt over the years on several occasions, as it is being currently done so. The original Hill 16 was made from the debris from the damage done in Dublin during the 1916 rising.

Get yourself a Bible. Check John, Chapter 3, Verse 7 and you will find your answer. Also check Verse 16 as the individual who holds that sign used to use John 3:16.
