Having spent 6 years in NCI (as part time and full time student) I found the best thing about the place is the people

hmmm, wonder who the secratary you're talking about is

Talk to Phil in the students Union, War games go out paintballing and stuff, which is really cool.

(Seriously though if you want a computer games soc set one up, Phil will help you out, when I was in First year I helkped set up 2 societies)

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

I doubt I'd have the time to run a soc with working part time tbh. Hopefully someone else will take the initiative.

Orientation is fine *most* of the lectures arent overly long. Except for some american dude who goes on way too long. The student union meet is definately the highlight of the day.

I was finished today at 4 after I registered didn't bother with the last atrium thing. Don't think many did.

Day off for me tomorrow :D

Thats a defeatist attitude. I worked part time and was involved in running about 3 societies. It doesn't really take much time
