Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey all,

I sent a letter there the other day to Australia by "Swiftpost". Just wondering - but do any of you know how long it takes for a letter to reach Australia?

Also I put a 20 euro note inside as payment for an Ebay purchase...hopefully no one will take it :)

I hear the australian customs are very very particular especially on any organic subtances that might break out into the ozzie enviorment. Apparently they scan irish post in particular around Paddys day to remove Shamrock relatives send over. It may contain some alien microbe that would kill native australian flys and such.

    Regards,

If you registered it it should be safe enough. It more than likely should take around 4-5 days to reach them.

I doubt four or five days.
In all seriousness I'd say maybe a week or so.

Strangly enough it never occured to me to ask.

I remember I got a parcel sent over from Hong Kong by special 4 day courier. Only thing was it took 3 weeks to arrive :)

Everyone in the Uk all recieved theres in 3 days but due to the Irish address it took an extra 2 and a half weeks.

    Dam this Island :D:p !

    Regards
