    Looking for a decent bike to travel to work on. Anyone know any good shops/sites??

    I got a bike off argos - if you can handle the ~7 day wait and sort out a delivery, the bikes are a bargain and not a compromise on quality compared to similar 'cheaper' bikes - made by Raleigh but carry a 'Matrix' brand.

    E139 for a basic mountain bike....

    I would highly recommend Trek bikes, I too went to buy a cheap bike for cycling to work and college but ended up spending €300 on a trek 3500 and it was worth every cent. If your going to be using it a couple of times a week I suggest spending another 100 or so euro on a trek.
