Right, we're going to go see the guide next weekend. Dressing gowns and/or towels are the dress code. Who's going, and should we make it a satureday or a sunday

This is a reunion, btw, not just a townification

This would be an interesting time for all the "oldies" (or whatever people from 2000 and before like to be called) to turn up. The CTYI dressing gown Thursdays was an old school tradition, maybe this is a good time for them to rejoin all the yung-uns with the guts to walk through Dublin in guide uniform!

    Comments?

someone back me up (or correct me!!) when i say that the dressing gown had nothing to do with school, but remembered a certain arthur bent?...

  • Registered Users Posts: 588 ✭✭✭JenLorigan

But that's all part of the fun... :p

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,383 ✭✭✭Aoibheann

not if we just wear the dressing gowns in the cinema, or something.

  • Registered Users Posts: 588 ✭✭✭JenLorigan

    Where's the fun in that?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 511 ✭✭✭LiamD

Where's ther fun in wearing bathrobes in public at all to try and get attention from passers-by who are just going to be saying 'Look at the weirdos in the bathrobes'?Seems kinda needy and attention-seeking.

tbh, it's a laugh, and nothing more. why should we care if people stare at us anyway? they dont know us, and so their judgements are based on a single glance. :)

I, for one, couldnt care less about some randomer laughing and staring at me, just because I'm having fun. Neither should anyone else. Enjoy yourself, and dont bother with such judgemental people. :p

That is all. I'm rambling. It's late. To sleep! :D

Liam you're being a muppet - if you had read the Guide, you'd understand the significance of the towel/dressing gown convo. There'll be too many of us to get beaten up anyway, and who cares what people think of us?! WE know what we're like, and that's all that matters! Whynot Monday, considering it's a Bank Holiday? I say saturday if I'll be able to cinemafy and get to work for 5, otherwise Sunday, though I think I'm meant to be doing something else on Sunday... :/ Keep me posted!

In other news, I should be back online either tonight or tomorrow (Wed) night...
