    This is annoying,
    Scanned my comp with Avast Virus detection Software (it's free) and keep finding - Win32trojan-gen{other} -Does anybody know anyhting about this virus and how to get rid of it, What does it do?
    I googled it but all i got is a load of forum questions similar to this one, and not very many constructive answers.
    Any help would be great!!

    First off scan your computer with an anti-virus. If you don't have one i'd suggest AVG (it's free and very good): http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/
    This should do the trick. If you want to know more about the trojan look it up at:
    http://www.trendmicro.com
    They have a search engine as well as instructions about how to remove the virus/trojan manually (don't remove stuff manually unless you know what you're doing as it involves changing the registry etc.)

    The best antivirus software by far is Antivir. In my opinion it beats Norton, Symantec and others hands down - and its free! - http://www.free-av.com/
