Who the hell is lookin' forward to it?

I know I am. Gonna join every group and have loads of fun.

Seemingly it's the best way to get to know people!

DCU, but I'm asking in general.

I've been told joining societies etc is the best way to get involved. :D Which I have no problem with.

I am too, at €8 an hour :P, but seriously you should join as many societies as you can, its the best way to get into college

It'll be a bit expensive to join "loads" of societies in DCU as the price to join went up to €4 last year.

But if you've a few interests or know of any sport etc. that you'd love to try out then there's a whole heap available, from Rugby, to Caving or Beer appreciation society to the Liverpool supporters society.

Beer Appreciation Society!!! Tell me more....
Now that's the sort of thing that should be in the prospectus, it would have changed my number one from UCD to DCU anyway!!!!!

Last night I looked up the timetable for Freshers' Week in NUI Galway (http://www.su.nuigalway.ie/index.php?m=13&b=fresh_index) and it looks pretty interesting :D
Bungee jumping, pizza-eating competitions, treasure hunts... :)
