    yes i noticed that last weekend that boards was down.I was going to email boards when i saw a message on a white background instead of boards but i didnt have a email address for them.

    why is this site so damn slow?! why is this site down so bloody often?! what was the point in the upgrade if the service we're left with is poo?!

    apologies to the admins, I know you put a hell of a lot of work into boards, and we all appreciate it ... but if it's not online we dont have anything to praise you about :p

    For reasons beyond our control the server is only going in on Wednesday of this week. Sorry about the delay, trust me if you think this is a pain in the beanbag for you guys, multiply that by about 14,000 and imagine the communications we are on the receiving end of...

    Im no expert but your apache is quite old - and by default doent do complression,

    do you have front end compression servers ?

    Most users ever online was 654, 22-09-2004 at 12:34

    He's probably seeing guests aka the tiny gold robots that look like collapse_tcat.gif and thread_hot.gif and go round searching and pm'ing and generally obeying ze orderz.
