So...what's to stop people from just getting pissed every single day before lectures?

My god, you wouldn't want to be a reformed alcoholic at college, what with temptations like that around you..

Hmm... And you would be of the attitude that you must do this everyday because you can? What's to stop you pissing on your bed every single day before you go asleep?
Being in lectures drunk is not nearly as enjoyable as it may sound..

Yeah but you notice the trend, both of us did that, and well we both had repeats.....

I'm going to be good this year.....(vague recolection of saying that last yr  )

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,523 ✭✭✭ApeXaviour

Heheh, I did notice that yeah...
I said it last year too but this year at least there is impetus.. Fear is my best motivator. If I dinna get 45% I don't get into SS. Plus if it's worth about a third of my degree this yr.. A bit important since I'm aimin for a 2.1..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,314 ✭✭✭Nietzschean

ah a 1/3'd ain't too bad, tis half mine...........

    you get yer res yet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,523 ✭✭✭ApeXaviour

Yeah I know, maths is a half.. We're lucky in that way.. Actually ours isn't a third, it's like 2/9ths. Kinda weird really.. Fair play on the passing btw..
Nah my results aint posted til fri, large class n all..
My prediction is 45%, but it's really hard to tell in chem, harder than maths or phys anyway. So you can see I have a bit to be worried about..

I've found before that cheap red tends to stain your teeth very badly.
For that instant shane macgowan look!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,314 ✭✭✭Nietzschean

lol, must be some very cheap red u be drink'n so man , nice work holding it down ;)

Red wine is worse for your body, the darker colour is an indication of the tannins and pigments which add extra stress to your liver.

    /random fact

..Eh? Funny phrase, but where's the relevance?

Um yes, but if you're out on the piss and drinking excessive amounts, white is better for your liver.
