I htought ff7 was a tad bit hard for ppl that were new to the series. i liked FF8 it was cool specially the twist in the plot V.Cool

FF8 was kinda a screw up because it wasn't fantasyish and it wasn't as epic as 7 or 9 but it was still a great game. Since I have played FF7 for 3 days solid my current favourite is 9.

You learn the ark summon from the pumice gem.

Find Ozma (toughest boss in the game, he's in the Chocobo air garden, do the chocobo side quests, you'll also find the best weapons for most characters along the way), now try to kill it and get the pumice.

Or have 2 pumice piece, you get one from killing the Ark, then find Hades in the last dungeon, defeat him, now he will synthesize a pumice for you.

I am sure you missed more than the pumice. Did you get the excalibur, ragnarok and excalibur2 for Steiner? The ultima weapon (not the ultima sword for Steiner) for Zidane? The hammer and Save the Queen (both give slightly different endings durring the play at the end)? I can go on but you get the point.

And Amarant is a good character. Does lots of physical damage with lots of usefull skills like chakra, aura etc.

Need help in Final Fantasy 7 mating Chocobo's...

Can anyone tell me how to get a mountain or a river chocobo 'cos I've gotten a great and a good chocobo and tried mating them with a Carob Nut but all I keep getting is normal chocobo's.

Feed them lots of greens(the ones you get from the choco sage), and save before you go into the farm. Also the sex of the choco's has something to do with it.

You should raise your Chocobo's rank at the Gold Saucer the Higher the Rank the more Likely that you will be 'blessed' with a Colorful Chocobo. Ditch any Chocobo's that are Second generation as they don't count as being 'good' or 'great'. Get new ones. oh and you should take a look at my 'COMMUNISM FOREVER' post in the Trolls section its epic.
