    Anyone know where I can get a free cobol compiler / ide for windows ?
    I've seen a few for linux but none for Windows.

    Eclipse has one.

    I have never used it though, so I have no idea how good it is.

    Also "Revolutionary guide to COBOL", ISBN: 1874416176 .

    That book came with a free IDE and compiler.
