Tangent Divx player from Maplins anyone?

My sister is looking for a divx/dvd player and asked me to grab her one. I have a Yamada DVX6600 that I bought in Maplins and I think it's the gears. Maplins now have a new player in, Tangent something or other, that's about €40 cheaper at 90 odd euro. Has anybody got one? What's putting me off is that it does not seem to…

Maplins now have a new player in, Tangent something or other, that's about €40 cheaper at 90 odd euro. Has anybody got one? What's putting me off is that it does not seem to play Xvid. I KNOW the Yamada one plays absolutely everything so that might make it worth the extra.

Any opinions?
