Oh yeah, there are lots of bored people out there but you should start more interesting threads because threads where people discuss how bored they are just add to the boredom.

Well, I don't watch much television and how on earth was I to know that it was a joke? You could put a link in you sig, at least.

It would be nice to live in a world where racism was only found in jokes but unfortunately, this is far from being the case.

Boredom can be interesting too, you know!

It has been the catalyst for revolution in the past. It was a buzzword during punk ("Boredom" by The Buzzcocks, "I'm So Bored With The USA" by The Clash and "I'm Bored" by Iggy Pop"). And I am reminded of the Pet Shop Boys' "Being Boring" - "We were never feeling bored, cause we were never BEING BORING".

Then there was writer/clever clogs Will Self on Room 101 who suggested that only boring people suffer boredom. When Paul Merton countered that waiting for a bus can be boring, Self nearly had a fit - "Oh I think waiting for a bus is fascinating ! When do I cut my losses and give up? When will it arrive? I find waiting for a bus tremendous fun..."
