Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Removing security tags from clothes. How to do?

Right dodgy sounding question aside ;) I bought a bag for my sisters birthday when I was in Barca last week and gave the bag to her yesterday. What I'd neglected to notice was the security tag still attached. If it were an Irish shop I'd just go back in with it but obviously thats not an option. Could just about any shop do it? Will a pliers leave the bag intact and remove it? any other ideas?

just use a strong magnet to do it

If it's the same as the standard Irish two-part tag, then a good strong wire cutters should do it.

You'd want to make sure its not one of those exploding ink tags. If you try to pry them open your sisters bag will turn red green and blue :)

If the tag has a dye pack attached, put the pack into a freezer bag, and put the handbag into the freezer overnight. Thatway if you break the dyepack it will be frozen and shouldnt damage the bag.
