    Hi Guys,
not sure if this is the right forum for this

I used a dvd rip program to grab the vobs from a scratched DVD disc that was skipping in the dvd player. What program can I use to put the vobs back so I can burn them back onto a DVD disc, got the burner and all that.

    Tks

AFter you've ripped it to your hard drive, use DVD Shrink if the files are more than 4.3Gb in total. This will allow you to fit the files on a DVDR for burning. After you shrink the files, Make two folders: AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS - stick the files in the VIDEO_TS folder and use Nero or whatever to burn off these two folders...

BTW, the DVD Shrink site is:

    http://www.dvdshrink.org/what.html

    And here's a guide:

No, you don't put anything in the AUDIO_TS folder - it's just there for compatibility. Everything goes in the other one.

should work fine as stated above. i've done it a couple of times and it's always come out fine with all the vobs dumped in the video_ts folder.
