What software do you use to track your downloads so you stay within your cap?

and as such you won't have nearly as much trouble keeping within the limits of your broadband servce.

I'm in shock to be honest. 4 years of dire patchey 33-40k dialup. Got hooked up today for 3 months free 1.5mb.... As my phone line fails the test, cap isn't an issue as I've no other option, but I don't know what it is. 1GB a day? Is there a monthly limit?

Regardless I'll have to keep an eye on it.

    yeah, it goes soooo easily.

my main problem is that i used to live in tenerife with 512/256 dsl (3 and a half years ago too) with no cap at all, and i got used to downloading anything and everything i could get my hands on. i ended up deleting gigabytes of stuff on a weekly basis just to reclaim some HD space.

now i have nearly 14gb d/l for my first month and there's still 12 days to go for the other 2gb. it's a sorry state of affairs indeed.

does anyone know if IOL have started charging for going over the cap yet? if so, how much over would i have to go before they slap the bill on me?

so much for the 'free' trial.

Maybe in galway and waterford, but highly unlikely beyond that.
