Eircom BB and OE problem.

Folks, A mate has Eircon BB, and his Outlook Express still looks for the Dial Up connection; this means that he cannot read his mail. Have gone into Internet Explorer - Tools - Internet Options and set it to "Never Dial a Connection." Also disabled Modem in My Computer/ Properties. Still no joy. Any help appreciated. Mick.

Go to Tools and Accounts in OE. Select his mail account in the box, go to properties, click on the Connection tab at the top and untick the box that says "Always connect to this account using"

Cheers, I've done that and still it goes searching for the Dial up. Any other ideas?
