getting apache to recognise png images

    no matter what i try, i cant get apache to display mt png images. does anyone know the line to write into the config file so png is recognised, or even how to get png working?

    You may need to look at the apache documentation which covers mime types.

    I suggest you check to see if mod_mime is either compiled into apache or is loaded as a module.

    Typically it then references /etc/mime.types
