Line Test Delays

I just bought a house in Kildare Town. Before I bought I did a line test on the phone line and it passed. I got the phone reconnected last week with a new number and I'm hanging around for the new number to pass the line test. Eircom said it would take 3-5 days, just whether I should trust that or expect to wait a bit…

i'd say it wont take longer than that but you might be waiting a while for a callback so maybe call and check the status on day 5.

Right - Eircom passed my line this afternoon (three working days) so all's well.
