Just saw that Stargate: The Movie, from 1994, is on Tuesday night @ 23:00 on BBC1. See where it all began! See if it can answer those long lost questions:

* Why did Daniel Jackson, Jack O'Neil, and Sha'uri change their appearance before the opening of the SGC? The personalities are the same, suggesting only one thing: They're Goa'uld! They took new bodies for SG!

* What persuaded O'Neil to add a 2nd L to his name? Change of identity?

* Why did Sha'uri turn into Sha're?

* And what the hell sort of Goa'uld is Ra anyway. It's like he didn't know he had a symbiote! And what would Thor think of Ra anyway at the end?

But of course if you say it's a different show then explain Skaara hmmm. Go on - explain him! Or Kasuf! Maybe an alternate reality where only some Abydonians are consistent? Hmm?

Oh yeah and the movie's actually okay... But the series it spawned is better in every respect....Worth checking out to see how well Shanks follows up Spader's performance.
