Applying for RAN on revenue website

ANyone have any idea how long it takes to get back your RAN number after you apply to submit tax on the reveue online website? Seems like I have been waiting ages. Everytime I hear that ad on radio reminding me to file online it annoys me. cheers

IMPORTANT NOTE: To ensure the security of the service the authentication procedure involves issuing correspondence via land mail. The whole process typically takes 8 working days, so you should be sure to start the process well in advance of any filing deadlines that may apply.

I know that my RAN came in the post two days after requesting it.

If you are concerned about the delay contact them on roshelp@revenue.ie or 1890 201 106. I've found their help lines to be very good.
