Hybrid - Possibly the worst Sci-fi film of all time?

One of the guys in the house went off in search of a sh!te film and came up trumps with Hybrid. An Alien/Species rip-off that seemed to be filmed along side a porno. Terrible dialog. Terrible "plot". Special effects? Shoe-string doesn't even come close to describing how cheap they were. For no particular reason there was a lesbian shower scene (accompanied by dodgy '80s music). The most frighting part was the credits at the end where it said "look out for Hybrid 2: The patter of little feet".

Ah c'mon lads - what about Plan 9 from Outer Space?

Now that's the classic. I love the way they just changed the main actor half-way through and just continue as if nothing happened. And those "special" effects are indeed "special" ... smile.gif

Gotta be my favorite sf/comedy of all smile.gif

that wasn't ment to be a comedy (its just that Ed Wood couldn't make any good movies that were not taken to be jokes) smile.gif

Bela Lugosi died during the filming of Plan 9 so the guy that replaced him had to hold a cloak over his face for the remaining scenes.

There is a rubbish Irish film on the way called The Artifact or something. Nazis hunting for celtic treasure or suchlike.
2 of my friends did sound for it and and scenes had to be re-shot cos they were laughing so much.

The guy who replaced Lugosi was Ed Wood's chiropracter, who in addition to looking nothing like Lugosi, was also 9 inches taller smile.gif

My fave bit in Plan 9 is when the vampire is chasing the kids in the graveyard - all the shots of the vampire it's pitch dark, yet the shots of the kids running away are in broad daylight. It takes talent to be that crap smile.gif
