Original Trilogy on VHS for sale

I have the Original Trilogy for sale.
Each film in perfect condition, pre Lucas Edits and Pre SE, films are in widescreen.

These are becoming rare and I am having a VHS clear out, these film are 50 yoyos each for the serious collector.

if you want the SE editons and lucas re hash then cool pay £2 on Ebay,
these are ORIGINAL non SE Non Lucas rehash and are becoming rare.

buy from Ebay or not the price is as stands if I dont sell then into storage they go for another 10 years!

Neither of which are "Lucas rehash"... I'm pretty sure you could get any number of them at that price, they're not rare.

Normally i'd agree but collecters like all sorts of stuff.....who wants vinyl, 8track etc.....

as above if you are collector then people want these,
only viewd a handfull of times cover art in perfect condition, if ye want them fine if not fine, either way not botherd, they can always go into storage as stated before.

The second link you posted is to the special edition. The first link is to the second last release of the original films, it's the set I have. Mine are fullscreen though, I might put a bid in for those widescreen copies...

My VHS collection has gone into storage, but i've kept a few down, including my Star Wars ones.

The first link you posted I have in widescreen, I might sell them, but the ones i have for sale predate these, they are Original prints in widescreen. the Jackets for the films are in White and have the Original poster art work from the films when released in cinemas.

I will try my best to find these on the net but as said they are rare items.

OK the vids were released in 1992 and are CBS/FOX branded widescreen,

I'm glad I still have mine... and I watch them regularly.
I reckon the DVDs will gather dust on the shelf... I'm not impressed with them at all.

I hate the way some people rate these as the "definitive versions" just because they've no modifications made to them. They're not. The latest version (whether that's this new DVD release or a future one) is the definitive release...


I 've made lots of modifications to my house... the current version of it is the definitive house - until I start painting again later, then that will become the definitive version.

thats an insane price tbh. as others have clearly pointed out, you can get 'em miles cheaper on ebay.

IF you do not want the films the do not bitch about the price, collectors pay money. end of story.

Actually you can get the original versions digitally remastered on laserdisc. There are rips of these available online, which you can use as a source for a decent quality DVD if you so choose.





And that is a relatively fair price for the videos being sold. They are a rare item, I personally wouldn't sell them for anything, if I owned them.

Ah yeah! I forgot about laser discs. I stand corrected Lodgepole!
As for the online rips... they don't count. If you're a serious collector, you'll want the whole original package.

I wouldn't sell my original vhs versions for love nor money either.

I regret the sale of these but i need the space for the babies room now.

still they will make someone day who ever buy them?
will leave up here for the weekend and if no other offer they will go to the private sale i have.
