Local Ticket Rip Off

    Well as a lot of you may know local residents get a certain allocation of tickets. Unfortunately these tickets are not distributed properly. The Iona District Residents Association got an allocation of 36 tickets to be raffled between 50 members. This raffle took place behind closed doors with the tickets ending up being given out to the committee and their friends. One woman managed to get two Hogan stand tickets, that's pretty lucky I have to say, each person's name is in the hat and she managed to have her name pulled out twice. They did not tell anyone about this raffle and gave out a few Hill 16 tickets to some of the people who had found out about the raffle and rang up, just to try and get rid of any suspicion. What a load of BS.

    Very annoying, but not very surprising.

    What would be surprising would be if there was any All Ireland final ticket draw taking place anywhere in the country that wasnt fixed to one extent or another :rolleyes:
