Alright lads. I've been playing on ladbrokes since I started this online poker lark but a combination of frequent crashes and invariably b0rked tournament lobby is making me want to spread my wings a bit.

My main focus with online play is large multi-table tournaments (buy ins from $10 - $100 usually) either freezouts or rebuys and single or double table sit and gos (buy in $10 - $30). I don't really fancy ring games much purely due to boredom which breeds mistakes.

So if you lads could throw up your preferred site bearing in mind the criteria above.

The one who convinces me best will win the stunning prize of whatever referral cash your site gives you.

    Cheers. :)

/me looks for cormie and is suprised not to find him here...

Hectorjelly will doubtless say Victor Chandler, and I heartily endorse this statement (even though he has won a shed load more cash there than I)

If you play those type of tournaments at the weekend then GamingClub is quite good. I've won money on 15$ freezeouts and rebuys there. They also have a few 20 player S&G's but you end up waiting quite a while for them to fill. I can't really comment on anything over 20$.

But like you i'm looking for another site too. The problem I have is most of the tournaments that i'd enter run too late or there just isn't an option. I am fond of the 10$ and 20$ 10 player turbo SnG's on Ladbrokes though.

If you are looking for reliability stay well clear of VC, if i had a $1 for every server crash.....

Ladbrokes has been without a doubt the most reliable place to me so far bet265 is also very reliable nice 50 sign up bonus too (providing you play raked games)

I like VC for a few reasons; I really like the software and some of the tournaments are excellent, namely the 7.5 and the 3.5 gtd each night. They used to have a lot more good tournaments, but a lot of them have been changed to 8 min blind levels, which I refuse to play.

The STTs there are good as well, for anyone who is trying to build a bankroll from humble begginnings, I recommend the $25stts. The players are good so that its not complete madness, but bad enough that an average disciplined player can do very well. Thats how I started out.

Ive never had any trouble with cashouts or anything like that, I get cashouts put on my visa card which always works perfectly.

Recently there has been some outages which are really annoying. There hasnt been one for a week or two now.

bad and all as betfair is for cutting out sometimes for hours on end they have the betfair championships on the 10th of october, £100 entry with £100,000 Prizepool guaranteed. other than that pokerstars and partypoker are best for big multis.

I would wholeheartedly reccomend UltimateBet.com. Loadza tourneys and s'n'g's, if you like the €100 buy in tourneys (a couple a day afaik) you can play an $11 STT for a $100 TEC. Every Sunday at 2 there is a €500 entry (or 5 TEC's) NLH tourney. Around 10,000 playing at any one time, games ranging from NL/PL/Lim holdem, Omaha, 8/b Omaha, Stud, Pineapple, Razz etc. Even the Stud tourneys get 60+ players! I've tried other sites, like VC and party poker and in my honest opinion UB beats them all. Their cheques take around 5 days to arrive, never had any hassle withdrawing. Also, if you get disconnescted they dont take you out of tournaments, unlike VC.

    7 thumbs up! :D

I was in a tourney the other day, my DSL disconnected (always on my arse) and it took a good 10 minutes before I could get back in. A message told me the tournament director had removed me from the tournie because I had been disconnected too long? Perhaps I had just been ante'd away but a happy camper I wasn't. The idea of VC paying directly into my CC does appeal to me though, I'll persevere with it a little longer as a secondary site, as I said to ya on Saturday once you play on one site for a while others seem strange....!

I've never had a server crash on pokerroom. that's right, never. the games would suit your pocket too, sng's from 5-30 and multitable tournies from 5 up.

It has to be Partypoker - they have huge MTT tournies starting at 5+1 on up to 200, you'll easily get over 600 people in most tournies from about 8p.m. (here) on, ensuring very decent cash for making the final table e.g. about $2500 for 1st on the $10 tournaments, and the players are so bad that half the field will have busted out in the first hour.

The mtts are very good here, the average skill level is very, very bad. I cant stress enough how bad the players are. I hate the software though, and I really hate playing cash games here, fireworks go off everytime you win a hand!

Hmmm. I think I'll go with VC, had a look at their tournament structure and it was good. And I like the cash out to credit card thing as it's what I'm used to.

First VCer to pm me with stuff gets the sign up bonus. Cheers lads.

You should check out ParadisePoker. The STT games are busy, so there is not much waiting around for a game to start, and the software is very good. Support is excellent, and they'll cash out to your Visa ( not Mastercard ). Their MTT games are good too; overall they are busier than VC but without the same amount of muppetry that Party has.
