Lain rocks.

The soundtrack... um, the title song (if that's what you mean) is by a group from Manchester called "Boa" - the name of the song is "Duvet". They're a bit good, but they never really made it in Europe... You can probably get the soundtrack CD on AnimeVillage.com or AnimeNation.com or somesuch.
