Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't know where else this could go, I'll try it here, couldn't find anything on the An Post site.

A friend of mine in the US is hankering after pancakes (a funny kind that you can only get in Cork) and Beamish. I was planning on just bubble wrapping the aforementioned and sticking them in a box. Would An Post/US Postal have a problem with this sort of thing being sent through them?

stick a biohazard symbol on the outside and they won't open it.

AFAIK, there's a problem sending vegetables, fruits, meats, fish, plants, seeds and animals from one country to another.
In saying that, I do know that you are able to send tinned goods and vacuum sealed products ie. the vacuum sealed wild irish salmon is always being bought by the Americans to bring home as souviners.
Check the customs and excise website to be sure I suppose.

Shipping of alcoholic beverages is prohibited under US postal law.

You might be able to fill out a 'prior notice' thing for the FDA for the pancakes.

    See http://www.usembassy.org.uk/ukcust1.html for details.
