if the mp3s don't have an id3 tag they won't get sent..

i'm listening toa load of mp3s off cd atm, live grateful dead stuff and other 60/70's bands but they're not id3'd so they won't be sent to audioscrobbler

I know you're taking the p*ss, but for anyone else thinking the same... don't. Defeats the entire purpose.

Rip the CD to Mp3 Mord?

Just in case you think I'm not. My unusual ratio of Belle & Sebastian to other artists is normal. I'm not leaving it on while out.

I'm sure they'll work their way up the chart of their own accord.

The weekly chart is good to look at too: http://www.audioscrobbler.com/charts/weeklytrackchart.php

Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out,
Modest Mouse - Float On, and
The Postal Service - Such Great Heights
    are *always* up very high.

This week's chart is almost all made up of songs off the new Greenday, Rammstein and Interpol albums.

They have overall artist and track charts too.

Is anybody else having problems with this at the moment?
The site is down and everytime a song finishes and a new one starts winamp crashes. It's happened about five or six times now.

    Plugin version 1.1.7
Is 1.1.8 good or is it buggy?

No, I was never able to get that working.

I like how it shows the covers of the albums you've been listening to on the lastfm site though.

LastFM worked for me, but on 56k it's just not possible to stream the music without it rebuffering every few seconds so I haven't tried it since.

How? What do you imagine is their business plan? How are they going to make money from it?

    Advertisment.
He is saying it is, or at least will soon be a very popular site, which means many hits. More hits = more money from advertisment.

My winamp is crashing frequently these days. Also getting Division By Zero errors aswell. Im not sure if its caused by audioscrobbler. I haven't figured out what exactly makes it crash.
I'm using winamp5, think I may have to go back to 2.x but the media library is dead handy.

Does anybody else have problems like these?
