a lot of reviews have been saying the humour is a bit thin on the ground this time and it was less self-referential, which was what distinguished the original from other horror/comedy films in the first place :/

Oh dear. Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear.

Crap. And I loved the first two. My traditional drooling over Neve Campbell barely made up for it, all in all tho, $hite.

It was enjoyable enough if you sat back and let it do it's thing. That said, it was more of the same really. Still, if you've got nothing better to use your mega-pass on, go for it!

    All the best,

Predictable, un-exciting, occasionally funny, terrible plot, strained acting... overall... ****e.

    *yawn*

Rubbish. And it broke the cardinal rule of whodunit plots - it led you completely up the garden path, dropping subtle hints as to the perp, and then dragged in a complete nobody at the end as the villian. Crap.

No point watching it if you haven't seen the first two either - I hadn't seen 'em, and much of this movie made no sense as a result. The whole thing felt more like a cheaply made TV miniseries than a proper movie.

    Ja,
    Rob

Tis better than the second, got more edge, but at the end of the day its Scream once more, if you expect anything more you'll just be disappointed.

gotta disagree there, the second one was lightyears better. this was totally flat - as for the 'complete nobody as the villain' point that Shinji made, the second one did suffer from that somewhat as well.

Rob get the first two out on video, they're excellent - don't judge the series by the pile of $hite that tries to pass as the threequel.

Saw it, laughed at it, didnt get remotely scared by it, finally bored by it. Better than Scream 2 though. All the time i was watching it i was thinking of Gladiator. Damn, i cant wait for that! Felt like killing small cute poodles because of that remarkably sappy ending. Wes, if your not gonna do horror movies anymore, then make sure you dont touch romantic films with a very large pointy stick.

    Joey, do you like...gladiator movies?
