Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Avengers + The Prisoner

    Does anybody know if any of these fine programmes: "The Avengers" or "The Prisoner" are on any ntl:digital channels these days?

    Is there any hope of RTE showing any of them? I remember the avengers was on every day on bbc2 @ 6pm in the early 90s to great success, would be great if rte put this on instead of the usual pile of ****e they have on there. Besides the Simpsons, can't say i can think of anything worth watching on those 2 bloody channels!

    Would be great if they took a chance with something old- like with Mork & mindy (again early 90s). That got huge ratings even though it was way-old. Then Channel4 saw how well it was recieved and started showing THAT at the same time.

    Anyway- most of the Avengers dvds seem to be discontinued, so my only hope rte (may God help us all) or any channel on ntl:digital (which i don't have- yet)

    Sadly neither are running at the moment, had you ben playing attention (ie get digiguide!) you would have found the whole Prisoner series on BBC4 through the summer on Friday nights at 11 pm.

    The Avengers was on RTE a few years ago in the daytime. It has also been shown countless times on various satellite channels. The Prisoner also has been on quite alot in the last few years. AFAIR RTE did show it a number of years ago and aswell as the BBC4 showing it was on Sci-fi around 2002, before that it was on other sat channels.

    I am sure both will appear again in the next few years on some satellite channel. Plus would be a good bet for The Avengers, not sure where to look for The Prisoner.
