Well who would have thought it. Big Ian is coming to Dublin. Looks like he's here to make a deal, or is he here to tell Bertie the usual no surrender and all that.
If a deal comes out of this, wouldn't it be ironic that it's done with the DUP and not with the UUP?

It often happens that the deals have to be made with the most extreme elements. e.g. the Nixon's Republicans had to make peace with Mao's China coz the Democrats would have been accused of "selling out".

But it's also a good example of the principle that you make peace with your enemies not your friends.

Don't call him Rev. He's about as Rev as a $10 hooker, which is probably how much he paid for the title.

Ah now, don't be like that. Sure he's 'Rev', sure isn't that's how the Irish Times put it?

The Rev has a Ba in Divinity from Pioneer Theological Seminary Rockville
Can't find anything about that place online but don't worry

Get your own Ba in Divinity here

    http://www.canyoncollege.edu/b_divinity.htm

    for four hundred bucks
    http://www.canyoncollege.edu/admissions2.htm#Tuition

    Looks tough

    Core Requirements:
DV325 - Introduction to Old Testament
    DV330 - Introduction to Theology
DV370 - Introduction to New Testament
    DV390 - Christian Social Ethics
    DV405 - History of Christianity

Select Four of the Track courses:
DV315 - Books Left Out of the Bible
DV415 - Pastoral Care and Counseling
    DV435 - Hermeneutics: A Short Course
DV450 - The Church in America
    DV460 - Christian Worship
DV480 - Practical Aspects of Ministry
    DV490 - Introduction to Preaching

Select Three Electives from the Following:
    DV375 - World Religions
    DV425 - Prophetic Literature
    DV465 - Praying the Scriptures
    DV470 - Pauline Theology
    DV495 - Christianity and Film

    And then there's the homework!!!!!!

    Discussion Questions:
How did the Bible come to be?
Do we have any of the original documents of the Bible today?
What does reading the Bible through the eyes of women add to our understanding of the Bible?
What does it mean to "understand" the Bible?

Then you can be called Rev by your mates how cool would that be...................

Wasnt he arrested for trying to pin a union jack to the GPO at some stage either during the 60s or 70s

If it helps bringing an end to the childishness that those eejits are getting up to in the north then im for it.

    He's here tomorrow.
And when you say 'go mad', what do you mean? Shower him with flowers? Bomb him with love? Yeah! I get ya, that would really freak him out! :D

Well I had some mates that were dissapointed that the Orange parade down Dawson street was cancelled a few years ago. They wanted to dress up as Droogs (from A Clockwork Orange) and walk behind the parade :D
