    A Friend Gave Me A Amstrad Cpc464 With A Monitor And A ****load Of Games , Only One Problem , When I Plug The Keyboard Into The Power Cable Coming From The Monitor , Theres No Power Getting To It .
    Anyone Know Where I Can Get This Machine Fixed And Bring It Back From The Dead ?

    I have the tv tuner that was made specifically the horrific monitor that came with the 464. I have to check the wiring on the socket but from memory 12volts should be coming off the centre pin From the monitor plug. If thats not there the problem is in the monitor> However before doing anything I will go home tomorrow and drag out the wiring diagram and post it or email it to you. Then if you know someone whos good at electronics it should be easy to find the cause. Dead computer is power supply problems and this one isnt sophisticated at all.

    Pity Im abroad, Id be willing to get this going for the fun of it..
