Now I think there was a thread about this film but I could not bother my arsé checking. Just to say when I got home tonight having seen the film, I did not take off my seat belt until the car had come to a firm stop. Great film biggrin.gif

So the pope puts down the Badger and leans over to me and says , " My son , sometimes you talk a lot of ****. Knock it off." Before I could speak in walks Christopher Lloyd with a time machine under his arm and just then...it started to get weird...

i liked it a lot. great ending and it might seem like an episode of the x-files because 2 of the writers are from it.

That would be why i said it then ! smile.gif. Morgan and Wong. They wrote some great episodes, and they were in charge of that brilliant second series of Millenium. Best not mention Space:Above And Beyond. Good CV, all in all

SAAB was brilliant, except for the last episode. Especially (can't spell Duchov....damnit) Mulder's guest appearance where he plays an entertainment android.

"Do you know who Clint Eastwood is, do you?" biggrin.gif

There was the usual salute the flag, isn't america great bull**** but american's always do that. It's something we've come to know and laugh at.

As for final destination why the fupp were all the morons laughing? She get's hit by a bus, blood everywhere, everybody standing around shocked and the whole cinema starts laughing. You can see they tried to make it a bit of a comedy but that's not something to laugh at.

The imagery was amazing tho. If they had tried to make it a pure horror film it would have been good.

The bus shocked me, I was totally not expecting anything to happen - and people laugh at that sort of thing in cinemas cos they're embarrased or dont know what else to do - although they did go for the comedy angle as Blitz says.

People cracking up laffing during the plane crash in Alive (scared the $hite out of me) is another one I remember.

I think people laughed because of the misfortunate characters last line, which I believe was : "... and if you don't want to let go, then you can just drop dead!" WHAM!

I believe the phrase is 'morbidly funny'.

So the pope puts down the Badger and leans over to me and says , " My son , sometimes you talk a lot of ****. Knock it off." Before I could speak in walks Christopher Lloyd with a time machine under his arm and just then...it started to get weird...
