Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Or you could have 2 r 3 polls of 10 and pit the top 3 of each against each other - or just search previous threads, I'm sure I've seen this before...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,933 ✭✭✭thejollyrodger

sod the polls - there crap anyway.

It would be a lot simplier just to post your team, since there are tens and tens of teams !!

    Newcastle United .

i know there are lots of teams but most people support only a very few teams.
and it's easier to see the numbers this way.

    p.pete :
sorry if it's been done before .

    Shelbourne, Manchester United.

If they were playing each other, then Shels all the way, it's amazing what a season of actually going to see a team play will do for you. I started about this time last year going to Shels games, just out of sheer boredom, and my brother has been going for years now. It kind of takes you over.

I have a 'soft spot' for some other teams too, like Cardiff City, because I have a friend from there who is an ardent fan, so I look out for them whenever they play. Wolves too for the same reason. But I'd never say I actually supported them. Oh, and Bristol Rovers too, simply for the fact that I was travelling to Wales via Bristol one time, and a nice friendly taxi driver drove me past their stadium and told me he was a season ticket holder, so I watch out for them too

Maybe you should have added an option for ABC (Anything but Celtic). People on this forum seem to be more satisfied seeing Celtic lose than they do seeing their own club win. I was thinking at h/t last night that there was no way I was going to look at the Celtic thread but they redeemed themselves with an impressive second have performance to stop the thread going over 4 pages long. ;)

    Aston Villa.

I was born less than a mile from Villa Park. All my fathers side of the family are from Halesowen in Birmingham so I've been Villa from day one.

    Man Utd

Very interesting to see Waterford Utd have as many supporters here as Arsenal.

I thougt Man Utd were the only club that attracted Glory Hunters, ;)

I don't see the (once) might Leeds United in that list so I can't vote, although the way they've been playing that's the least of my worries
