Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I feel sorry for garcia remon the guy is going get his head chopped off if they continue like this. What a joke, this is not a team in fairness the players aren't communicating. It looks like no one likes poor Michael, there was no link up play last night between him and raul whatsoever. Micheal looks like the kid your mom invites to your birthday party but nobody likes.

They lost 1-0 to Depor in case anyone wondering :)

Not just lost but completly outplayed, was weird watching them even when they losing they usually look like creating somfin but nowt vs depor (not saying depor were great at the back) they didnt have to be.

good god that was a shocking game. fantastic goal though. how micheal owen starts is beyond me, he was absolutely dreadful last night. and playing zidane with a dislocated shoulder doesn't help. the only reason remon is in charge is because there's no-one else to take over!

one good thing did come from last night's game though, i found out from the adevertising hoardings that Pro Evolution Soccer 4 is out on the 18th of this month! mad

The lunatics have taken over the asylum. The manager there wields little to no power and Raul and his inner-circle now run things. I can't understand why anyone would want to join that club.

You missed a superb 3-3 draw between Roma and Inter on Setanta/Eurosport. :D

BTW, the average age is around 28/29.

The signs that things were going pear shaped apperead towards the latter stages of last season.
They've done nothing since then to rectify the situation. There's too much bickering going on. Maybe it's ego clashes, but Mardid are a shadow of a team they once were.
To add insult to injury Barcelona and Valencia are looking very strong.
Deportivo are playing terrible this season too, had they lost last night they'd have been in the bottom three.

Probably because anything is better than Lorenzo Sanz.

Perhaps they could try to bring back John Toshack from TV3 again and get him to bore them into submission. Camacho did the smart thing when he resigned.

Real Madrid is a circus, Owen wants his head examined for moving there.

That 3-3 game between Roma and Inter was great, delighted Roma got it back to a draw, bloody Inter :(

It all started with sacking Del Bosque I tells ya ! .
No matter what club in the world you are , only winning the league shouldnt be deemed a failure .

Big Ears your a hundred percent right, the minute they sacked Vicente Del Bosque club has faced a downward spiral. Btw Vicente Del Bosque was relieved of his duties recently at Besiktas, in saying that Flo Jo Perez wont humble himself to bring back Del Bosque.

Real Madrid were and may still be one of the most fearsome teams in the world and a lot of players aspire to become real madrid players. But tbh I cant see what the allure of Spain and some extent Italy hold for players apart from the better weather, the premier league is arguably the best in the world. The fans and their attendance, simply the quality of football is of the highest standard.

Madrid as a whole in regards to directors/fans alike must look at their luxury box set-up ie: the whole presdential appointments. It wont do, these guys get in to their jobs by saying they are going to buy a top notch player each season and they run with a front man, Flo Jo thought he'd sign Patrick Vieira and ended up with a duff defender, an off form striker and a clown for a manager.

They must first focus on a new manager with a good backroom, and once he is installed for christ sake listen to him. A good manager should be able discipline the players, call the shots and simply be able to the ability of man management in order to have a winning combination.

In the past 6 years Real have had 5 Managers, John Toshack-Vicente Del Bosque-Carlos Quieroz-Jose Camacho- Garcia Remon. Out of all those managers Del Bosque won the most, 2 La Ligas, 2 Champions League's, 1 Spanish Cup, 1 Spanish Super Cup and 1 Intercontinental cup. Lets Be fair about it his record speaks for it self, all achieved in 3 Years.

madrid are too old, past it, cant produce consistency. no hunger there as every player there has already won everything anyway (apart from micky of course).

no replacements brought in like utd have done with ronaldo and rooney, teenagers already key players, madrid are squeezing every last drop out of their ageing side. when was the last time a young player came in and held onto his spot?? casillas and then back to raul...

their youth academy is non-existant and its showing now. no players coming through or even given a decent chance to prove themselves, and madrid are in a position were they have become so big they HAVE TO win games and hence feel under pressure to field their biggest stars who are no longer as great as they once were.
