ohhhh dear. Im pretty dissapointed. It started off so well, with the Blair Witch mythology at the forefront, and then decided to make a completely different film altogether, with nothing to do with anything gone before. It wasnt really scary, not eerie, the acting was alright, but some of the lines they had to spout out were utter s hite, and it ended badly too, with no real explanation for anything that had gone before, as if they couldnt.

nahhh, it was a bit bad alright.With nothing in it that made (for me) The Blair Witch Project such an experience.Roll on Blair Witch III : The Prequel. Mabye not.

Just saw it and I must say I thought it was very good indeed!

I was very different to the usuall crap that is on these days. It made you think all during the movie as to what was going to happen next and who was going to do what...

The first one was based on an original idea
blurring fact and fiction.
I liked the first one, most people who didnt, stated they didnt 'see anything scary'
That wasnt where the fix was meant to come from.
This time its got a Hollywood budjet behind it and though i havent seen it and dont intend to i'd be afraid that it goes down the road of 'what's behind the door?'
Tell me if i'm wrong.

i was really disappointed with this.
i thought the first one was excellent, but this was so poor.
there was one or 2 bits in the middle where it started getting wierd and that was not a bad thing. i actually got a tingly feeling or two or fear, but then it went silly with the house and stuff. should have been kept in the woods. and the flashbacks to the murders at cofffin rock was crap, looked like it was trying to do the same sort of thing as event horizon, but it didnt wokr out as scary. and was the whole thing just a recount from the three survivors ro what?
in the end it was just not scary. it was just silly. shame coz there could have been soo much it could have done...

For a really scary movie see ring in the ifc this week. Its Japanese and has already spawned 3 sequels and a few foreign remakes.
Its more psychological than gore which i prefere.

Dull. Badly acted. One or two minor shocks. Poor props and effects ( Did you see that owl? and wow did the gore scenes suck). Where the **** are Myrick and Sanchez?
