    oh jesus, u didnt?!

its a credit operation. you had a SPENDING LIMIT of 350euro. they bill you at the end of every month. if you dont pay that month they add 32%interest. the code got you fifteen euro off your first order. nothing more. cancel NOW!!!

This is going to sound stupid but here goes

I created 2 accounts and ordered 2 items costing less than 15 each, Usint the code gives them to me for free.
I was alloted 400 to spend on each account which I did not use any of. Are youy saying I get charged interest on the 400 at the end of the month??
    just slightly confused here

Some nice offers - free bb's muffin when you buy a drink and loads of buy one get one free's - eddie rockets / TGI Friday's / The Pizza Slice / Zumo smoothies.

Here is the FAQ's link too - http://www.ocode.ie/faq.aspx

Technically speaking I think it would give you a bad credit history and may prevent you from getting a loan in the future.

Only way it could give you a bad credit history is if they were a part of the ICB (there not check here for all member http://www.icb.ie/ anyone not part of that can not affect your credit record) or they bothered to prosecute and post it in the stubbs gazette (not very likely either)

Guys- what you're all proposing is at very best unethical and immoral, and at worst, a form of shoplifting.......

I would suggest taking this elsewhere if you wish to continue the discussion (but would seriously recommend forgetting about the whole thing).

i agree here's an interesting piece from the t&cs

If, before accepting your order, we find that you are not entitled to use the code or do not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reject your order or alternatively process it without the promotional benefit being applied. If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used. Just remember ... your balance will show €200/300 ... thats credit. You have to pay this back!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,498 ✭✭✭mcw92

oh ya thanks for that GBX.

so unless you want to actually pay them some money, make sure you DONT buy anything over 15€.
otherwise you will owe them money, just keep it to one purchase under 15€, then when you get it you may aswel cancel the a/c

I keep getting the "credit rejected" for my last 3 orders using 3 different accounts.

During checkout I used "add to my account" instead of "pay by card" as they don't seem to accept my AIB debit card.

Does renting an apartment instead of owning one have to do with this? As I am an oversea student studying in Ireland.

    :(

Hope you dont live with your parents then because if you do it is their address that will get blacklisted if you accept that order with the intention of not paying.
