Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was Lille seeded second ? They are a very good side, top of the french league now !! Shame Shelbourne wasnt there, lots of teams that Shels could get results against.

Which Shelbourne have you been watching lately?

The one that lost 2-0 to Derry City at home last night.

That result was just a hangover from Europe. If Shels were still in it then it would have been 3 points in the bag.

We got a terrible draw (compared to Newcastle and Rangers).
Middlesbrough's task is altogether tougher with opposition in Group E from Italian side Lazio, last season's beaten semi-finalists Villarreal of Spain and Serbian league leaders Partizan Belgrade. Only Greek minnows Egaleo should provide little threat, and manager Steve McClaren at least has the advantage of Lazio and Partizan coming to the Riverside.

    what a terrible system.

3 teams qualify from a group of 5,
... so it's very possible a team will have one win and three defeats
and qualify or 2 points(no wins in 4 games) and qualify!
    ...that's mickey mouse stuff

Yes, it seems you can play for a draw in every game and virtually assure qualification.

The Greek sides will LOVE that!

Nice draw for the toon , we should definetly top that group .(although maybe Sporting Lisbon could top the group , if Newcastle lose to them , but the point is that should be assured qualification .)
