Friend thinking of buying a place in Warrenstown

Hey,

As the title suggests, a friend of mine is concidering buying a place in Warrenstown, Blanchardstown. Could someone please tell me something about the area?? What are the ups and downs so to speak??

I've found some links online that have me a bit concerned noteably the following

I don't know the area, but those points are 3-4 years old. Best bet might be to drive by at 10pm Friday night.

I live in Blanchardstown and I must say I wouldn't have thought that was the best area in it! But having said that driving past is a good idea - I actually hadn't been past Warrenstown for ages and I was amazed to see a new restaurant and shops there. Mulhuddart Village (which is really where it is) always had a bit of a reputation for being a dive. It's also where the girlw as killed coming home from the Xmas party a few years ago. Bit of a stolen car place as well.

What about ringing the guards and asking them?
