Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Can anybody tell me the title of a film, along the same lines as Deep Blue Sea. It was out about the same time as DBS I think. All I can think of is Lake Placid (The crocodile film) and the words "Dead", "Still" and "Calm". HELP ME!!!

    Just so ya know - an excellent resource for this kind of stuff is the Internet Movie Database. It's affiliated to Amazon and it's online at http://uk.imdb.com

    Anyway... according to IMDb ( http://uk.imdb.com/Title?0097162 ), Dead Calm came out in 1989 (some time before DBS) and isn't a shark movie.

    Could it be 'Deep Rising' that you're thinking of?... not sharks this time either but monsters that are a cross between a H.R. Giger-esque alien and a giant squid. More at: http://uk.imdb.com/Title?0118956

    There was a dodgy straight to video flick called shark attack with the bloke from starship troupers that came out at the same time.
