Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok, hope someone can help me out here......

Can anyone confirm where Halpins Restaurant used to be situated in Cork? I know it was on one of the side streets from Oliver Plunkett Street to the South Mall. Was it on Cook Street?

And more importantly, as you go down the street it was on towards the South Mall, which side of the street was it on?

Dating a girl from Cobh and we had a difference of opinion as to its location. AFAIR, it was on the right hand side of the street heading towards South Mall.

Any help would be much appreciated....

    Mike

I think it is what is now La Gourmandise which is on the left hand side as you leave Oliver Plunkett St and go towards the mall..so I think that is Cook St (or Marlboro St)

It was in Cook Street, across from the Rob Roy pub.

I think it was on Cook street on the left as you go from OP St. to S. Mall.

Just as a point of interest the owners of Halpins moved out and set up Eco's in Douglas...which is yum!
