System Idle Process

Hi I understand that "System Idle Process" in Windows Task Manager should show the amount of time the computer has running. But it seems that on my machine this process shows in a quite accelerated count ie. it lapse 2 seconds when it should be 1 sec. Which means if I leave my machine for 24 hours, the CPU time will say 48…

Hi

Which means if I leave my machine for 24 hours, the CPU time will say 48 hours instead. What is wrong? I don't think it is serious but it looks stupid though

Any ideas ?

Do you have a hyperthreaded proc?

Go to task manager and on the performance tab click View->CPU History->One graph per CPU
