Apparantly, Michael Jackson is bidding on this item over on ebay. At the time of posting the highest bid was over £1,500,000 sterling. Funny to see a bit of Irish Ebay madness for a change.

They seem to have started a trend for selling ghosts in bottles.... :D:D

He's not offering Shipping Insurance on the item. There is NO WAY I'm paying GBP£1.5 million on the ghost, and having to entrust An Post with its delivery.....

I would be willing to hand it personally to Jacko for 100k in cash.

Funniest thing ever. The guy who pays 1.5 million for that DESERVES to lose his money for being THAT stupid.

Personally I do believe in spirits, but think anyone who thinks they have a ghost in a bottle is off their rocker. As for bidding 1.5million- well as they say, a fool and his money are soon parted.

At time of me reading highest bid was only* £1550. Typo?

*still a rip-off for a bottle and a rolled up bible page though.

Look at the bid history, its just the same people bidding over and over to get up the price.

The priest was having a laugh. He showed them an empty bottle and said the spirits are gone.

after seeing that it makes me think I should list my "storm in a teacup" on ebay... Feckin thing has been in a tupperware box under the stairs for about 8 years now... I need to sell it so I can get that €2mil house in Malibu I've been after.

btw price has dropped backt £1550
much more reasonable for a bottle with a page stuck in it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 953 ✭✭✭StRiKeR

but how much does it cost to get a bible and a bottle tho, make it better yet, how about a bottle of volka??

I guess the highest bids have now been withdrawn. I think it went over 2 million at one stage. How frustrating must that be, to watch your auction go to those heights and then drop down to £1500. Still though, not a bad price for a fart in a bottle.

i was listening to beat fm and they were interviewing the fella selling the item and they couldnt stop laughing at him he sounded very drunk and they joked that he was really in contact with spirits!!!
