Was Bush wired for the first debate?

This seems to be gettting an airing in the newspapers and TV today. Saw the coverage on Sky - pretty symmetrical looking "bulge" for the crease his supporters are claiming. I'd have to say if he was wired for the first debate he should sack the guys at the other end of the line. He was much better in the second debate…
