Have you much experience in either, because cubase for sure is not for beginners.. reason is not as intensive as cubase, maybe better if you have no experience .. TBH i would recommend trying something like fruity loops tis i wicked lil app especially wen u got the hip hop data banks.

Exactly, if ya can its your best option, running Reason2.5 thru Cubase makes a powerful combo!!!!
