Picutes in Signature

    Hi all.

    Just wanting to know how do I add a picture from disk to my signature?
    I've tried doing it to no success.

    Can some one run through it with me step by step.

    You need to find somewhere to host the piccie ( 35Mb.com) or Boards.is . Then just use tha link ..

    1. Upload the picture to somewhere. Your isp should give you some free webspace so check how they do it. Or go here and upload it.

    2. Once it's up, check that it's working. For example:
    http://members.boards.ie/amp/melted-amptest1.gif

    3. Put the address in your signature with img tags around it like so:


    [img]http://members.boards.ie/amp/melted-amptest1.gif[/img]


    4. For the love of god don't make it too big either in terms of how much of the screen it takes up and how many bytes it takes up.

    That particular signature doesn't conform to either of the guidelines that amp mentioned in number 4 above. For more specific guidelines see the signatures rules thread stickied on this forum.

    Sorry ecksor. Kinda overlooked that point.

    File is a bit large ok, but you gotta admit the pic is kinda cool, right?

    Anyway, will revert to my old sig.
