Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
Thinking of going away for a day or two over the 22-25th BH weekend. Are there any festivals or any of that jazz taking place around the country? Generally want to go outside of Dublin Wicklow area.

    Thanks

Well the Cork Guiness Jazz frstival is on at the long weekend, and it is, without exception, the best weekend in Cork all year.

Whether Jazz floats your boat or not, Cork is rocking all weekend, and all musical types are looked after.

Not to mention the tail that be around.

Cant wait. I even have the whole week to recover in Galway, as Im off there with the ol doll after the jazz is all over.

Cork is great for the Jazz Festival - the biggest and the bestest Jazz festival in Ireland la.

But g'luck getting accomodation - hope you have mates down there.

Alt: Galway always seems to please too - or for an alternative one - go to Aran Island off Donegal - fantastic place, best craic ever.

    /EDIT - terrible speeling

Cork is buzzing as others have said but i'd say you'd be pushed to get accommodation.. Doubt you'll get anything in the city centre anyway. But most places outside the city have music anyway so the whole county is alive & kicking!!
