drivers for a dell solo5300

folks need to update drivers for a dell solo 5300, the cd rom aint registering with the machine so i will have to do it via floppy..... need on e for a sound card, network and graphics ( and hopefully the screen will not look as bad) where do I find out the make etc etc of the hardware with out opening the laptop so i can…

should be a dell service tag on the back (5-6 characters afaik)

either enter this into the support.dell.com website or just go to their website , click support , laptops and follow the menu items to select yours.

Dell really do a good job on making drivers and docs available for each system.concisely
