Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yo,

The Bodytonic berf-day Circus continues this week with a whole night more or less dedicated to live electronic music.

The night will be presented in a 'Jools Holland' style with Al o Hare on presentation duties and we'll have 2/3 stages set up in the venue aswell as DJ Steve 'Eggy' Egri suppling some choice cuts and visuals between the acts.

Also, try to get down early if ye can coz we've been full most weeks over last few months now by about 12.30/1am and while you can still get in after that, you'll have to q, and wait til people leave first. just so you know. 'course it'll probably be empty this week now.

Anyway, this week looks like this ...

BODYTONIC - FRIDAYS - 15 OCTOBER 2004

We did our first ever Bodytonic LIVE gig back in April with Jori Hulkkonen and Paul Hughes, and its something we’ve tried to do - where possible - ever since. For this event we’ve some of the best talent to play for us over the years we’ve been going. Al O’Hare gets to try out his production outfit under the guise of Soul AD. We’ve heard a little bit so far and it sounds good. Next up, it's one of the Bodytonic old guard Paul Hughes, who has released on Brique Rouge and Siesta and did a remix of our first (and last!) 12” by Aruba. A quality producer who we should hear a lot more of over the next year or so. Last up we have Soma boys Hystereo, who’ve been playing for us almost as long as Paul Hughes. In fact we all met at the same Bodytonic night back in Voodoo about 3 years ago. These guys rocked our tent at Electric Picnic and are sure to do the same tonight. House and techno music with a heavy slice of funk and just a sprinkling of good humour. Make sure to ask them to dance when they are playing - it’s a sight for sore eyes!!!
