US Punkers J Church playing next month

    J Church, from the USA, originally started in 1992 in the same scene as Green Day. They used to play together all the time and the band that pre-dated J Church (called Cringer, with much the same members) were on Lookout records, who also released all the early Green Day stuff. J Church, however, never signed with a major record label and have been going strong on the independent road for 12 years.
    You may also be interested to know that they took a break in 1995, as singer/songwriter/guitarist Lance Hahn was busy playing in Beck's band on his world tour of that year.
